Ume from Airlayer '23

This little gal is from an airlayer that I took about a year ago. I've now planted it into one of my pots to accent the leaves and simple pentagonal flowers of the Plum. This Plum (Ume) was a grafted variety for fruit which was not attended to over the years. I'll be curious to see if she holds her fruits as in the past with poor maintenance she had not put on fruit (at my previous residence, a rental).

Glad to know I’m not the only one layering trees at my rental like I own the place

And I got her just before a major wind storm took her down! (The ground crew turned her into fire wood!)
