I was wondering if anyone here had success getting acacias to branch. If I top them they just grow a new main branch but never split into two. I've tried on many of these trees but have never been successful.

leave them when they are so young...
Acacias respond awesomely to trunk and branch chopping.
I find they grow far better in bigger pots - give the roots space to do their thing

Thanks for the info! Ill do just that.. I have 3 in a pot now. Ill separate them out.
