This tree has had a slow go of things leading up to this point but I feel like it’s got enough potential that needs developing that maybe I should spend more time on it.

A few things I’m pondering: airlayering to improve the section without taper and/or cutting back all the branches hard. I’ve JUST about decided to keep its height though (ie. Not airlayer). The nebari needs addressing and I can’t see it stay at this planting angle (though that might not be obvious in these pics except you can see it tilted in one.)

Anyway, figured I’d post it and see where it goes. See anything I’m not seeing?
