Ulmus Crassifolia Cedar Elm, OK remake after 45 yrs.

After it was dug in 1976 it was placed into a large tub for a few more years. I then not knowing much about this artform tried to style it (see photos). As it developed it went through various configurations and ended up in the bluish pot as shown. For some reason a few years ago the entire top died. I later did a "Naka" broom attempt to at least save the massive nebari. Last photos shown are leafing out and new escape leader to increase the main body to fit the base of the nebari in the future.

With nice warm weather and a few good rains last month this old fella is coming back into his own. In a few more years after that leader is over 6' or about 2.6 M] it will begin the trunk line I'm looking for. At the moment it is a sprout from a stump! At that point I"ll do a cut and begin more of a broom.
