March 2023: Repotted into pumice in Anderson flat. Kept flat in tub of water through growing season.

August 2, 2023 The smaller trunk really took off.


October 16, 2024
Tree mostly left alone. It grew to be around 9 feet.


March 17, 2025
A late winter “storm” broke the tops out.



August 21, 2025
The trees response was to send up new trunks and increase epicormic branching. New growth is still green and soft.

Fall maintenance. Clean out spent foliage, examine and reduce branching.


Budding all over.


Dieback in the smaller cut trunk. No problem.

Water tub roots. This tree really needs a repot next spring.


Some wire that was forgotten. Let it ride.
