I found this tree in my yard and dug it up in spring 2021. ( also I was super smart and planted it in 100% peat moss.). 
Here it is in 2022 I put it in akadama but used the same pot and didn’t touch the roots but got the peat off.
Here it is in 2023 I didn’t repot it or touch the roots at all.
This is spring 2024 and I finally did a repot and worked the roots for the first time.
