I sowed some native english oaks, but they grow slowly so also some Quercus rubra. There are thousands of accorns laying around here already prepared and starting to grow, so I didn't even need to stratify.

*tree* Yamadori Messages 98 Reaction score 100 Location Czechia USDA Zone 6b May 4, 2025 #3 Today i pulled a few out to check the roots. When I was collecting the acorns, they already had a taproot which I cut so now I cut the roots for the second time on a few. Last edited: May 4, 2025
