Omono
This ficus was one of my first bonsai trees. Suprisingly I still have all of my first trees! I've only lost a 3 trees in my bonsai career so far, one because of my fault and the other from issues out of my control.
I purchased it as almost mallsaish cutting grown material from House of Bonsai. It had the typical 2 leg ikea nebari but the basic branch structure looked promising so I picked it up. The tree has underwent structural pruning at least once a year and it was ground layered 2 years ago to rebuild the nebari from scratch. I just did major cutbacks and a partial defoliation 4 weeks ago to induce backbudding. We've had a few cold nights which made me worry but the tree pulled through. Great profusion of backbudding that I can use to select secondary and tertiary branching from. All in all I'm happy with the progress so far. The trunk is probably double the thickness compared to 4 years ago. Unfortunately the earliest picture I have is from 2015.
