Our beloved cat Nouri is no longer with us.....

He has been a fighter all his short life and as such he has struggled to live all through these last days.....

This morning our good vet had him operated to realize an oversized ruptured spleen.....

Poor animal didn't overcome the surgery/anaesthezia....

Sorry to hear this. Nouri is in a better place now.

Very independent and loving.
Almost 13 and 12 years old. Actually mother and daughter.
Noli me tangere and Panther.

They send their love and condolences.
Good Day

* A cat friend said to expect about 20 to 25 years of
mischief.

He was certainly a good looking fella, so sorry for your loss of him. I'm a cat person as well, have three of them right now. Was Nouri part Maine coon? He doen't have the ear tuft's that they have but with the nice thick fur around his neck area he looks somewhat like a Main coon I use to have.

So sorry, he was very pretty. We never had a cat in the house, until my son brought home a kitten 5 years ago. Now, I don't know what we'd do without her.

Thank you everybody for your support!
Only people who love pets and have them in their family can feel how it is loosing one....

Yes, you are correct.
He was part Maine coon. He does have the ear tufts but do not show on the photo. He also had a short tail.

That's bad news.
I'm sorry for your loss.

... ...He lived a good life though and lived to be about 18 years old.
... ...Our Sophie, who we had for 18 years, passed on a couple of years ago.
18 years!
That's a long long life your cats have happily lived!
Our Nouri was a stray we rescued. He has been abandoned by his mother, for health reasons I assume... Natural selection, you see...
I was his step mother, fed him with bottle, cleaned him, helped him to empty his faeces.
He has lived to be 8 years old. During this time he has been operated twice for F.U.S.
But now this happened so unexpectedly... :( :(

18 was a typo... actually she was 19. I had a cat as a kid that I found as a kitten crying in the rain under a car. It was a classic "Mom can we keep it?" That cat lived 21 years.
