It's been a fun summer getting the word out about Bonsai in my area. A PBS spot, garden tour, scheduled garden tours for next summer and this article in todays paper.

It was a bit of a mix I believe. I can't remember what I did and didn't say. It's odd how you say something in the context of a fuller conversation and when it gets stated as a stand alone comment, it seems a little flat. All in all I think he did a good job of really listening to what I had to say and converting it to an article. He really had limited understanding of Bonsai, so if it sounds like he knew what he was talking about in the article, it's because he did a little research and listened well, "stated Terry"

I will forever be in love with this tiny bonsai. I search eBay for similar styles. That I killed a juniper...makes me leery of taking on any conifer. But...if the price was right...I might be forced to just swallow that fear and do it. Love yours...it looks fabulous in that pot by the way.

I forgot to add...what an honor! Congrats on the recognition of your passion for bonsai. Your yard does look fabulous! Who knows who might read this article and consider giving it a shot as well. Which is cool also in it's own right.
