Seriously, when I’m doing these things, I tend to redneck the heck out of it, but the results are usually good enough.

My root over rock chojubai has been sitting in a dark corner of my cold room for 6 weeks and doesn't appear to be dormant. Apparently it's feeling festive! It got moved up to the bench this morning in recognition of the effort

Honestly, those flower buds were swelling back in mid November when it got moved inside. It’s basically been in the 30s in my workshop for the last month, but the flower buds continue to slowly swell and open up… It may continue to flower right through the winter and I’m OK with that.

For sure! IDK anything about chojubai other than that's the noise I make when I sneeze.

Not really a thing in MI but Winter flowers are cool.
