I did a little thinning after work yesterday.

We’ve had three or four mornings over the last week where the temperatures have fallen into the mid 40s Fahrenheit… Just like clockwork, it begins.

Well, we are clearly either having a banner hickory nut crop this year or a banner crop of squirrels who like hickory nuts… Or both? Every morning for the last week, I found a hickory nuts stuffed into a crevice or the soil of a different bonsai. It’s getting a bit old at this point.
