The odd species for bonsai thread

Let’s see who can guess what species is this 😂
If I list the characteristics , it’s like gold for bonsai …

1. Exfoliating bark
2. Yellow flowers in summer that mature into dry fruits in winter
3. Gorgeous fall color with yellow , pink and orange
4. Super flexible to bend and wire in growing season .
5. Fast and crazy grower and easy to attain ramification .
6. Wood rots easily like potentilla
7. This is a pollinator’s paradise

Tell me who am I ?

Understood. Nice specimen for sure! I'm on the hunt for one actually. Ever since giving up Facebook and spending time reading older blogs and Jonas from Bonsai Tonight had mentioned with a photo from Japan. Love the compound foliage.
Hey did you ever find your Osteomeles? As it turns out I found some at my nursery. I snagged one not knowing what it was. Osteomeles subrotunda I'll get pics up tomorrow.

Congrats ! No...I'm to particular . 🫣 my air layered failed from my source...and I didn't want anything that wasn't atypical of my taste. So I passed on them.
