The Lazy “Four Legged Apprentice” Thread

Although I’m definitely more on the rookie side of my bonsai journey I have picked up a few “apprentices.” They said they would help around the garden as long as I provide food, but they’re turning out to be pretty damn lazy!

BUT I regularly catch him sleeping on the job

Same with this guy, always sleeping when he should be watering!

And these two often do more harm than good, when they’re not sunbathing!

Clearly, they didn't do their apprenticeship in Japan, but they are cute.
 
My helper did a decent job of snapping my aspen in half which resulted in some pretty sweet jin’ing. Unfortunately, she thought 3 times would be better. Newbie overpruning mistake and killed it

She mostly just lays somewhere and never helps
