Hello all, this is my green helmet Juniper I just did the 2nd styling for it this year. I got this tree originally as a tanuki bonsai in a formal upright style from a previous owner. After having the tree for a few months, I didn't really like the style too much, and so I decided to separate the tree from the dead wood and let it grow for a full year to recover. The bottom branch needs a lot more work to do, but overall I'm pretty happy with it. Any advises and suggestions are welcome. Sorry about one of the pictures is sideway.

Hi! Coukd you add your geograpical location and US hardiness zone? That would help us to understand how to give advice.

Stlying looks allright.

The trunk is thin enough to add some more movement but then you will need some thicker wire on it, The trunk now is straight, a bend, straight and then a bend again try to avoid the straight parts and make sure the movement differs in direction every turn so it doesnt look repetively (is that a word?)
(If you want i can give you a example of how i added movement to a similair straight telephone pole juniper trunk )

To bad the branch on the left side is dead would have been my choice as keeper since its on the outside of the curve

The first branch on the right is also straight as an arrow try to add some wiggle to the left, right, up and down it wil also help getting the foliage closer to the trunk.

Overall the trunk is kinda thin and tall and the tree looks a bit top heavy, i think it has good potentional to be a nice literati tree and it reminds me of a tree of my own
