Surprise trip to The Lake Merritt Collection

So since the nationals were happening on my birthday this year my girlfriend and I were planning to attend but work wouldn't allow that to happen for both of us. We then planned on running up to the Pacific Bonsai Museum for the weekend but a family members medical emergency had us cancel that one as I needed to watch over their house (family>bonsai).

Well yesterday morning after breakfast my girlfriend said "Let's go I'm taking you somewhere" without telling me what was going on. Let's just say I had a great time and a awesome girlfriend. I won't post pics of everything as to not spoil the collection for everyone but here are a few pics of my favorites and my girlfriend took them all so I wont torture you all with horrible pics from my phone.
