Stick-In-A-Pot™

The swelling really worked wonders on the nebari. I had to remove the wire because it started biting into the trunk, and unfortunately it outgrew the subtle bend I imparted way back when I started this project.

Ok, so I let it rest and regain strength for a while. I feel like it's time to try out some advanced techniques, like hammering to increase the trunk size:

What could possibly go wrong?
I'd glue some rocks to the turface....you know, to help speed recovery and what not

I'm registering my claim, and officially declaring this the honorary BonsaiNut.com 'Stick-In-A-Pot' image. Feel free to use it anywhere typing "stick-in-a-pot" would be too cumbersome or time consuming ;)

. . . and feel free to tag me if you do; I'll be very proud.
My attorney will be sending some papers your way for Trademark Infringement soon. This was a serious matter as two very generous people donated some very valuable pots as well as gift certificates for a mutual ebay auction.

Ah yes, I remember stumbling across that thread once before. It's tough to get the whole story from the threads here.
I wish someone had archived a picture of the stick and/or a screenshot of the auction . . . my attorney will request them during discovery, of course.

I just got home after 15 hours at work. thank you for this thread. awesome.

but I think your pot selection is all wrong. it should be a rounded corner rectangle with cloud feet. midnight blue. to bring out the eyes of the figure.

hammer technique is clutch!

where's the moss?
