Stewartia planting on Slab or pot?

I’m thinking to make a forest. Bc Stewartia require a more moist soil mix, do y’all think it will do well on a slab? Would love to see some pictures of Stewartia planting if y’all ran into any. Thanks happy repot!

So, slabs will dry out faster than pots . You'd have to have your watering dialed in all the time with a slab to prevent crispy leaves, I'd think.
