Went to a local home show and Restore (recycle type place) had a stand. I found these PRO scissors, and a planting tool set.
The scissors are pretty good quality. The planting set doesn't seem very useful.

I have a Stanley Pro saw that works well with bonsai for the initial branch removal, or shortening something thicker than I’m gonna use a cutter on. Sharp and cuts quick and clean
I have a pair of the Stanley shears.
They worked good until I got a set specifically for bonsai.
Those have a longer handle, thinner profile and smaller jaws.
They are much better for making cuts inside of the canopy of a tree.
