Springtime Gingko here in New Zealand .
Got some new growth

Hi,
Looks good, and happily growing. Ginkgos are great fun and you get the amazing yellow in the Autumn. One thing I haven’t figured out with my crew is how to ramify. Any thoughts?

Only got this Gingko , had a second one but it did not make it . Ramification have not thought about it . Mainly concentrating on my tropicals and a few others

Thickening and ramification take forever. Often just get one new shoot after pruning but occasionally a couple of new shoots add a little density.
I get best results pruning into older wood so let shoots grow until they harden then prune.

To tell you the truth I bought the Gingko at the local market cause it was cheap $5

Wow! Looks like great growth for ginkgo. I had one awhile back and next didn’t have good luck with it. Yours looks very happy.
