Well just found first one looks like they are all the way to the Hudson river in NJ. What other states have you seen them besides PA. wondering how far they have spread?IMG_3284.jpg

My niece lives in Delaware and they have been a problem for a couple of years.

Just spotted in my yard, saw a large amount of nymphs hanging out on the bottom of leaves
there must of just hatch so to speak . I never saw any visible eggs in my yard , but could have been because they might have been
high up in the trees.
as far as my Bonsai trees should I be concern?
has anybody had to deal with this , and if so how?
I am in Suffolk County , long Island NY ZONE 7A-7B

It's been 5 years since first sighting in my area every year there are fewer. This year I only seen a hand full and I spray them with Sevin also a salt gun takes care of them!. I haven't noticed any damage to my trees. there egg sacks look like a smear of mud.

They were a nuisance in PA back in 19-20. Then they fizzled out. Haven't seen one in at least 2 years now. I'm sure they're still around, but it doesn't seem like they became the crisis that was predicted.
