Hey all,
I'm just wondering from the local vancouver island people on here what clubs are still going between Victoria and nanaimo? Sent out a couple emails to what I thought were contacts but haven't heard anything back. Any info would be appreciated.
There are three active clubs on Vancouver Island currently. Thy meet monthly.
Campbell River Bonsai Club, Mt. Arrowsmith Bonsai Club and Victoria Bonsai Society!
Closest to Nanaimo which you mentioned is Mt. Arrowsmith. The Mt. Arrowsmith Club has active members from Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Courtenay/Comox and a couple from Campbell River. They meet at the Nanoose Bay Community centre the second Saturday of each month Sept - June . 1-3 pm.
The clubs support each other and often gather for special events put on by the separate clubs.
I am holding an Open House and all clubs are invited on April 26th in Qualicum Beach.
There is a special event in Victoria on April 27th with a visiting Japanese Professional, check out there website for detailed information.

There was a small group meeting in Duncan a few years ago but have not heard from them recently!
