No. But I could see how this could be a thought because the entire water gel stuff is a crazy rabbit hole.
- Polyacrylamide Hydrogel (this is miracle grow crystals):
- Retains/holds water and forms a gel sphere
- It is an organic compound made from acrylamide.
- It can form a gel when it holds a lot of water, which is called a hydrogel.
- It is used in things like water treatment and scientific experiments.
- Silica Gel:
- Absorbs moisture from air
- It is made from silicon dioxide (SiO2) and is not a plastic.
- It looks like small beads and is used to absorb moisture and keep things dry.
- It is an inorganic material, meaning it doesn’t come from living things.
- Plastics:
- Plastics are synthetic materials made from polymers that can be shaped into many products.
- Polyacrylamide and silica gel are not considered plastics.
- Something different but probably the best.
