Show this weekend in Belgium

It's a 3 hour drive for me and unfortunately I'm too busy to combine this with other stuff I have to do this weekend.

Have fun and good luck with your workshop Jelle.

I would love to attend all the big shows all over the world someday.
Unfortunately now is not that day.

Have fun

It was a great show at a beautiful venue (a charming old castle in the middle of a park, in need of a bit of restoration). I'll share the few photo's I made below (sorry, crappy phone pics...)
I ran in and out of the workshop area to have a look at what was going on. Seems like you were doing an excellent job at guiding the participants ("so do you REALLY want to keep that branch?")! (I was the awkward red haired guy. Didn't want to distract you from your work).

Besides an exhibition of trees, there was also an exhibit of stones and a sales area (Also featuring some impressive trees/material!).

I particularly liked the "rhus" literati style tree at the bottom of the stairs. Quite unusual, large, and impressive. The photo sadly doesn't show the depth/curves well.IMG_20230917_113916_492_r.jpgIMG_20230917_113636_198_r.jpgIMG_20230917_112450_241_r.jpgIMG_20230917_112344_241_r.jpgIMG_20230917_112228_932_r.jpgIMG_20230917_112020_912_r.jpgIMG_20230917_111950_747_r.jpg

THe branch was removed in the end. But it took him 3 hours to get rid of it, and another member of the club asking him why that branch was there!

Remember.. A CLUB show.. 20 persons put up all those trees!

Damn saw this too late... just a 20 min drive damn damn

I am keen on attending the Trophy next year, exciting! I wonder is the program they have up on the site the correct one? All the demo instructors seem to be the same as 2023, but maybe I am mistaken.

Thanks for sharing. Really like that Larch with the cones left on!
