Wires were left on until August 2018, and it was just trimmed back every so often.

This summer, it can be pruned and wired again, and the deadwood will be reduced a bit more.

Thanks. I was looking in the catalog and only saw the small and one gallon shimpaku prices at around $30. No photos there. Thanks again!

Right. For $30 you’re getting a 1/2” trunk to grow out. No photos necessary because it won’t look the same in 3 years.
