Here is a few historical pics of a JBP I’ve been developing for a bit. (This was a Facebook Auctions purchase for $80, I believe).
The tree in fall of 2021:
I candle cut this summer, but the growth came in VERY wonky. Which is unusual for this tree (and JBPs in general).
I’m gonna let it chill for now. Not sure what I’ll do with it next year. Looking back, I’m not super confident that I fertilized it the way it deserved. And it got a little fungus as well. So we’ll see what next year brings.
I also don’t like the final placement in the pot, so a bit of a change might make sense next spring. We’ll see.
