Shimpaku shohin

Well done. A crown with more density would likely kill the illusion on this one. Good job on not letting branches run too far before there's foliage also.

Great pairing with the container! do you know who the potter is?
Thanks! The 'container' had been made millions years ago, i don't know who the potter is.... 😁

Serious: its a natural stone I found in Brettany, in the north of France.

I should have known "by the hand of God!"

Great find, great composition.

Great work! I gotta go out and look for some rocks... this rabbit hole keeps going, huh?

After 5 years since the last repotting, this little one became less healty last year. So time for some fresh substrate for this one. It was not easy to get him separated from the stone, but finally....
The nebari and rootmass have developed great the last years!

I like that I'm able to see through the crown, looks very natural and realistic. Is it from seed or seedling and how old it is.

Looks amazing
How do you fix it to the stone?
How do you keep the soil from not just running of while watering?
I fixed the wire with glue on the stone and made a wall around the soil with keto..
