I have to discuss with my friend the ceramicist. It's up to her whether I sell this seedling in its current ceramic this Fall 2025 versus waiting until spring if she ends up deciding against selling this particular blue ceramic. Hey all!
Following up on my first Taxodium distichum (baldcypress) for sale! This particular tree was collected from the edge of a medow in Central Park in the spring of 2025. Its parents are the two giants growing for at least 30-40 years directly east of the Harlem Meer. I consider this collection to be an adoption or rescue, given tens of offspring of these trees see mowed down every spring. I was fortunate enough to find 10 on site this spring. This particular individual in the blue pot is my personal favorite.
As for the price, the ceramic goes for ~$90 so I'm willing to part with this specemin for $150 OBO.
