This was a 3ft Schefflera arboricola plant that a friend of mine was going to throw in the garabage, because he fried it in the sun and sworn it was dead. It had a woody trunk so figured why not try. Back in late May I cut it back to 7inches, repotted, and stuck it in the back corner of the Bonsai green house and forgot about. Came across it today and looks like a little forest theme. I may pursue that with this one. Any thoughts or suggestions to go that route be good.
Also the wife has been bugging for the longest to make a little "Beach landscape". She doesn't understand that bonsai takes awhile. She thinks everything grows like damn tomatoe plants. No patience with this women ha ha lol!! So when I received the 3ft I thougt what better plant to use then this. Grows quick and is forgiving lol. I took a few cuttings off which had about 1 leaf each on them that wasn't fried from the sun, poked in the soil, and forgot about as well. Surprised to see it grew in so well since not using rooting hormones like I have in the pass. And the BEST PART is they grew in looking like little palms. That means happy wife, happy life!!! Ha ha.
