Hello,

I just repotted this Barbados cherry. It seems unhappy since. I have it for 3 years or so. It did well and flowered from time to time.
The previous pot was more of a cascade pot, with smaller diameter. It was damaged and I found this one that I liked.
The soil is a shohin mix, akadama, lava and pumice of relatively small size.
I water everyday, it starts to be hot in Houston.
I was thinking that the pot might be too small. Thank you

In your heat I would also cover up the roots a little more. You can see they like to get straggly. If you cut the straggly parts back (not yet let it recover from the repotting) it will back bud farther up on the branches.

Thank you for the input. I did keep it in the shade for a week after repot. It seems that was not enough.
We got some dark and rainy weather in the last week and that break from the heat definitely helped. Leaves are looking good and new growth is coming.

I have two of them and I give them morning sunrise till 3pm or so, they seem to do best for me with an afternoon rest/cool off.
