We should get Bonsai Nut t-shirts with our usernames on them to wear to bonsai-related events.

I bought a couple small maples and this piece of deadwood from a failed tanuki. The twin trunk maple was nice but a bit too much $ for my skill set and some beautiful pines that were way out of my league. Chase was very welcoming and easy to talk to, and I hope to take some open workshop classes in the spring.

Five days drive if I can get off the island in good time! then there is the border, exchange rates, customs. have to call it a vacation but then good pots are hard to find .
