Bonsai Nut alumnus... we miss you
Had tried a lot of different types of Rhododendron here and none seemed to survive Winter even as mild as it is. In fall of 2015 I tried another and left it in its' 5 inch pot outside. Not much to look at in the Spring but it lived so I bumped it up to an 8 inch pot and although I bent it a bit downward it is 29 inches wide and 12 inches tall today showing nice Fall color and a lot of buds for early Spring. It has small leafs for a rhododendron, none more then 2 inches in length so I think in a couple of years it will have good potential.
