I would like to get one of those Maples for bonsai that has small leaves and also bright red leaves. I see them hear and there but don't know the name of them or anything about them zone wise or anything else. I know there are those that can advise me on here. I live in zone 6 but would protect in the winter. Advise appreciated.

Do you have these trees Jeremy? If so, are they grafted or shoot grown.
Woops, I didn't notice that you live in Amsterdam. You do have some nice looking trees though.
