So the first part of my pot order has arrived and must say I'm pretty thrilled by it, it is certainly a bit different too but that makes me like it even more.
I'm pretty sure that if you have been following this potter you will probably know who it is straight away but I'll leave you with a touch of mystery for now.
Can't wait for the second one to arrive now.

I would like to know too, the other pot that hasn't arrived yet I have a few ideas.
I'm sure an idea will come to me eventually, nightshade is a curious suggestion. What ever I do go with will likely be my smallest tree yet.

I've been tempted to buy one over the past few years but unfortunately once you put a tree in it you lose most of what it really is. Great display pot though.

I can understand that and for me it would take a lot of thinking to try and find a tree that either doesn't take too much away from the pot or can blend with the theme.
But yeah, for the immediate future it will be a great display pot in the lounge, thankfully the wife likes it. :D

It could nearly be used as an accent pot with the other one that is on the way.

Hah! That I can do :D

But I like the thinking too, like Anthony's suggestion. A certain grimness that .
On the other hand you could do the contrast thing with death and life. Maybe something vivid like a fruiting or flowering tree?
I do like the deadwood suggestion though, hmm.

That would be cool but I'm sure it would be too big for the pot.
Might look int that for the garden as well.

Not necessarily that size, plenty of dwarf varieties. Just something to consider.;)

True I guess, lots to investigate. In fact you have me thinking now and that is a good way to kill a couple of days investigating.
I'll be honest I have never given any thought to accents before but now I am. For now I just like looking at it, need to picture it with a beverage I believe.

Me too. :D
I was lucky to get it I think, just happened to be online at the right time and this was the one I did really like the look of.
That said they all looked great but I'm well happy with it.
