A view of "Orange Dream" and sun exposure variations on the foliage..I found it "fun" to note.

..with Pine Bark, Coral...and a Tamarack at the end for "picture of a tree" shizz/gigzz....three maples that burst thru the bottom and got in the ground. Have to move, flat roof above means this spot gets too much "snow weight" if/when it needs to get cleaned...want to save the tops for layering tries and if left, they'll never make it. The boxes? Stay tuned because they'll be 5-6 years old at least next spring.....crumbling......heheheee...yikes!!

Thank you. I used to be affiliated with a Facebook group...one had a very young one in training as such. The characteristics of a ginkgo and their think bark that scars...which its a species that doesn't heal over like most trees. Many try to go into the direction that is easiest.. flame and fan style typically are what you see.

I think Scott Lee did an amazing job adding some movement to this ones trunk.

Lol on the telephone pole ginkgo. Well clumps are stunning. And mature old ginkgo like Sergio's is jaw dropping. Brian Van Fleet has a nice one I don't think screams telephone pole. (((Shrugs))) you either love the species, or you don't. That is one true statement for the Ginkgo.

I shop for trees looking at the standard bonsai features of the first several inches of trunk, branch placement, and taper (height). After the first hundred trees or so, we all shop around for "outside the box", and Ginkgo fits that.

Here's some of what I love about fall, my
"Sticks in a pot" ginkgo, first fall colors for this guy with me. My Shin-Deshojo, European tri color Beech, and Zelcova.
