If you read the entries on the web page, trees are made with plastic and "real" trunks. Looks like they glue plastic foliage on dead limbs and charge sky-high prices. They also push "luxury fragrances" that can be sprayed on these Yuck
 
Well, I understand OP is about inspirational images. Does not have to be a real bonsai, could be a drawing or a tree in the wild.
Just thought a faux bonsai is a bit funny, but not inappropriate. :)

I get it too, but charging $400 + (some are over $7,000) for a stick with plastic foliage is a bit over the top...
 
I wish forged work was more popular. But so heavy lol definitely my favorite sculpture. I don’t think I’d sell it.
