I am planning to buy kaneshin scissors No.29A. Please help me to give a review about the scissors. Are there any problems with the curved blade in the future? And what kind of steel material do the scissors use? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 🙏

They work fine.
These were recommended to me at the bonsai school I frequent.

Why does this product not provide information on the type of steel used, sir?

The site indicates that all hand made bud cutting scissors are made of Shinogi White Steel. That seems to indicate they are made of white steel.

Used on the price and purpose I would consider the ARS small scissors with the angled blade. Very good quality for a much more reasonable price point. And easy to sharpen.

Shinogi refers to the curved geometry. White Steel refers to a high carbon steel. It’s a term that originates in Japan that means very pure steel. It’s high quality used in Japanese blades.

Convinced me to upgrade the curved scissors I've been using.

I am comfortable using embroidery fabric scissors.

If they work for you then that is what matters. And enjoying the process of sharpening and maintaining your tools is a good skill to have.
Thanks, it's time to break the piggy bank

https://stonelantern.com/collections/tools/products/roshi-specially-curved-stainless-bonsai-shears <-- I recommend these, but tend to only use them during repotting. I like the ARS mentioned above as well, but these are larger which is nice.

Edited: looks like the ones you linked are for a slightly different use case.
It's like kaneshin No.30A
Membuat saya tertarik dan berpikir sejenak. Saya kira saya mencari sesuatu yang mirip dengan gunting bedah melengkung. Apakah masakuni juga membuat sesuatu yang mirip, Pak?
