My family has a 65 acre property on top of mount prosper, which was at one point used as a logging ranch for oak and fir logging. I was hoping to find an old redwood under one of the skid roads, but no luck. what i did find, was some nice old oak stumps, and an old fir that was downhill from a major marijuana grow, one that i chopped back every year for 5 years for shade purposes, and absorbed all the nutrients from the marijuana grow. i had been shaping this tree for half a decade and had no idea! funny how that works. it was overall a perfect trip. weather was great, timing was perfect, the only problem was lack of time and space. i only had a lexus suv and a single day to get what i needed. here are some pictures:
