Photo background tips and tricks?

Hello, Bonsai Peeps!

I wanted to ask—what's everyone's best easy setup backdrop for taking great photos of your bonsai? I'm looking for simple yet effective ideas to really make the trees stand out in pictures. I would like to see set ups!

Find this easy because it remains set up and is flexible for background. Easy to install on Garage door as well. I boosted its use with some lighting above. Not high end but very effective ne Two vertheless. I just move one of my turntables in front for set up. Otherwise the garage retains all its normal use. Pictures show the rough details of set up and install. Two backdrops, one in matt grey and one black. Fabric is non glare.

you could just buy a yard of black/grey felt from a craft store and tack it up on a wall

Paint a wall black with chalkboard paint, pull-down movie screen for white, or shooting in the dark with a flash are all backgrounds I like.

I feel like I get surprisingly adequate results from the white-painted drywall on the interior walls in my garage.

I picked up a roller blind at the reuse shop for a couple of dollars. Mounted on a wall. Roll it down for photos. Roll up to store.

The only colour blind I could find at the time was beige so I bought the widest black/grey fabric I could get (I think it was bed sheet fabric?) and taped it to the roller blind to give a better colour. Blue also seems to be a popular backdrop colour.

I have a piece of concrete plywood (dark brown) that I can put on the table when I am working as backdrop.
And I have roller blinds installed on the ceiling, one white and one black.

I use a popup background. Black on one side...white on the other. My son got me professional lighting. Truly makes photographing or video nicer. I found Chinese quince the leaves difficult to photograph with the thicker glossy leaves. But with new lighting...its a breeze.
