Most likely a Bradford Pear, or something like it. Left wild, Bradford pear generations revert to the original CAllery pear. Bradfords are a variety of Callery, and they're extremely invasive on the East Coast. Glad what ever this is is out of the ground and in a pot where it can't breed others.

they make great bonsai BTW. Underused species.
