I want to go, but it's tough for me to get down there the weekend of Mother's Day. I had enough trouble getting myself to MABS when my wife's family was expecting us for Passover. Shows really shouldn't be scheduled on holiday weekends.

will be there Sat morning to drop off a tree for exhibit and Sunday afternoon to pick it up. this will be my last time visiting for a while. moving out of the area

Random photos from Saturday. Last photo is of the stand under an elm in the competition. It’s hand laid flagstone in a steel frame. Novel idea. It’s a bit too small but an “A” for creativity and execution second to last is my favorite suiseki in the collection. It’s got so much detail you can actually hear the rushing stream
