$350 OBO Local pick up only.
I just learned today my wifes sister, is selling her kiln.
It has been used for home ceramics/decorations.

There is local interest on FB for this item, but I asked if I could offer it up
to the community here in hopes that it could be put to use for bonsai instead.
I'm unsure how long the offer will be good, so please inquire rapidly
if there is any interest. I know nothing about the unit other than, it is in good working order.
The unit is ~45 minutes from my home, so I can request other info or pictures if necessary.
I'm unsure if it is the model number 82 or 82-3.

Wish you were closer. Still might be worth the drive . . .
James, I'm considering it for myself at this point.
My wifes phone lit up all night with interested local folks.
It's a $3k unit after all, on the website, but possibly from the mid 90's in age (unsure).
She was offered $400 overnight, so I'm doubting the unit will sell from my posting here.
Playing phone tag with Paragon.com to find out replacement cost for the controller and heating element
which are working, but are the 1st working parts to fail.
If parts are too expensive, I will continue to try and sell it for her.

That is one darn nice unit. It was very gently used. If I didn't already have 3 kilns (one not even hooked up)I would get it. I would say that in condition as shown it is worth $500 to $800, that is a fair asking price. You should really get it for yourself. BTW, it is an 82-3, that is 3 inch bricks which is very desirable. Dang! Somebody here buy it if Japonicus doesn't keep it. Two or three years ago I would have bought it for sure, but I am slowing down and just just can't handle switching it out. Not really sure how many years I will still be making pottery. I'm taking 150 pieces to a craft show this weekend and it is a ton of work.

Thanx @penumbra
I know practically nothing about making bonsai pots.
The times in kiln are daunting and the Genesis controller seems it would take a lot of the work out of it.
Not sure if the included DTC 600C controller is going to help me out that much.

These are the only 2 controllers Paragon now sells.
I cannot look up element without the actual part number.
This is going to be a whole new hobby. I think I will keep the unit and research more to see if I am willing to
make that commitment or not.

Try to find a studio or community college that has classes.

yeh my wife eluded to that last night, and questioned if I was that devoted to take on another hobby.
I'm pretty sure nobody teacher or otherwise, here, is knowledgable about bonsai pot creations.
Pottery in general, yes.
I am at the point where I am trying to prepare my trees to scale down my hobby resources.
Retired last Spring I may have the time, but not so much the money required. IDK yet if this is for me.
Then I look at the cost of pots, but the cost of a controller and materials, I'm torn...
