Got this olive last year for the nice base and bark on the trunk. Hate the top of it.
Will be repoting it this week to a much smaller pot as the one its in is way oversized and its in bad soil.
Do I reduce the foliage to compact the tree at same time of repot ?
All branches emerge roughly from same location so thinking of reducing to these three to avoid thickening of that junction. Wonder if I just do the chops and leave tree with no foliage or just heavily prune leaving few leaves on each branch and once I get backbudding reduce branches further?
Would leaving these branches be ok or do I leave others and do u suggest a broom style for this base and
