Just purchased a wild olive prebonsai. I'm in 6b. My house is very dry (baseboard heating) and not a lot of light unfortunately. There is a promising west facing window in my attic, which is cooler and not as dry. Or an east facing window with not as much light. I also have grow lights available but it would be harder logistically to rig them up by these windows.
Should I just stick it by a window even if there isn't as much sun or is a grow lamp sufficient for the winter? If I do use the grow lamp, should it be direct or indirect? What distance would be best?
