Okada, Hanko Painting

Nice. I really like the perspective as the Valley unfolds to the thatched structure. The painting draws a person down to the structure and again traveling up to the mountain peaks. Excellent work of art. The right Bonsai tree displayed would look elegant and a natural fit.

I like your observation about the painting. The one I am working on is very similar in structure. Because it is an Autumn theme, a deciduous just turning color may be the best. Also getting to work one titled Bamboo in Snow by Gyokushu.

When you say "working on" does this mean you're creating one just like these? Or restoring the original or something? I don't know enough about these things to even ask an intelligent question, but am curious what you're up to.

Owners of the original paintings have had high quaily photos taken and prints on paper done. They send to me and I create new scrolls of their original works. Hope that answered your question.
