TomB Omono Messages 1,181 Reaction score 7,329 Location S.E. UK Dec 13, 2020 #2 Mineral deposits. Could be from hard water, or fertiliser salts buildup. Often a sign of a tree that's being kept inside and over watered.

How would moving it outside affect the amount of minerals in the soil?
