I’ve had this Ume since 2021 it was a small nursery stock plant that I purchased and have been letting it grow and cutting it back for the past few years. Last year I defoliated and wired a few branches.
It has grown vigorously this year and I had a design in mind so today I performed partial defoliation and did a rough initial styling.
