Hi everyone, I bought this pomegranate tree from a nursery three years ago. It only had the trunk, and the top was dead. I trimmed the top and let it grow for two years in a large pot. Last spring, I repotted, pruned, and wired it. This is the result; what do you think?

Nice.

Looks like a good trunk and base. Post another pic when it's out of leaf. You can get nice tight internodes and good ramification on pomegranate.

Thanks, as soon as the plant has lost all its leaves I will share a photo.

Here is the plant without the leaves.

Hi, thanks for the advice. In the future, I'll let the lower branches grow to achieve larger diameters.

I agree with that. Let all the branches run and get big. It’ll be a really nice tree.
