You don't need an expensive grow light but you do need a full spectrum bulb or bulb with the wavelength for plant growth. Normal light bulbs are typically not the right spectrum nor bright enough (ie not enough wattage).Hello everyone im new here so I just started using normal light bulb as a grow light as I can't afford grow light will it be helpful have anyone tried it? The problem is none of the lights are available in my country only those burple lights which is somewhat cheap otherwise the grow lights that's available they're like $50 and above like Mars hydro and stuff
It does says it's 6500k which according to google search is cool day lightLook for cool white as a light color. Highest amount of lumens you can find. This cool white is closest to the spectrum plants like, if you can't find plant-specific grow lights.
A 20 euro/dollar "outdoor flood light with no sensor" is what is lighting my terrarium and aquarium. Not great, but also not at all bad.
I just updated the location is it ok or did I messed upGood point about your location.
Can you please put that information on your profile?
A lot of bonsai advice and information is location specific and if we can just see it on your profile, it makes it much easier for us to help you.

Yea that is true. When I saw it was LED, I was like maaaaybeee26 Watts of LED is a lot brighter than 26 Watts of incandescent bulb.
