The pot is, as all, hand made from rolled out sheets of high fire cone 6 clay body. The pot has a in-turned lip: traditional to Chinese and Japanese pots. The glaze is also one that will in time, show the crackle unless one submits the finish to being coated and then wiped with India ink or similar stain.( see photo of crackle) An unusual simple glaze of blue over white gives it a feeling of falling rain. I can see a flowering Almond or Prunus in this one! I have also included as you'll see a haiku from last Fall's contest here. Start at $40.00 Shipping $9.00 auction ends Tuesday , Dec 26nd Midnight and ship Wednesday 27th IMG_0444_edited copy.jpgIMG_0445_edited.jpgIMG_0446.JPGIMG_0447.JPGIMG_0448.JPGIMG_0449.JPGIMG_0450.JPG AM.

Was this the winning Haiku!? I love the idea of the winning haiku on your pots each year. Lol

Thanks O, nope it was one of many but I enjoyed watching the geese landing on the lake in the eves and waking me up iat 5ish lately…
Now they’re slowly departing for further climes south of our lake….
Toward a large gathering point near Merced where we used to live….
But thank you!

Did this one sell?

It is still available as of 12/29
thanks

If you want it I can ship tomorrow, although I found the previous shipping was $12.00 USPS Ground Advantage instead of the quoted $9.00

Thank you for the fast response. Still undecided if it is the size that I want.
