I was wondering If anyone has any experience in training night blooming jasmine as bonsai? I have a decent sized plant that I think has potential to be a nice twin trunk tree but I wasn't sure how well this species does as a bonsai...

Any styling tips or pointers about this species would be great!

I've not tried night blooming jasmine, but that doesn't look like Cestrum nocturnum to me. In the image, the leaves appear to be more roundish, and the ones I know have somewhat pointy slimmer leaves. But then I don't even know if there are different kinds of this plant.

Here in Dallas they grow fast when established in the ground in the spring developing about an inch in growth from a pencil thickness trunk by autumn.

C. nocturnum is a vigorous plant, that I may start to try. I've replace them each year in my landscape. If I were you I'd grow your in the ground when the weather stays warm in full sun. Get some thickness in the trunk and then chop it down. They back bud easily. Of course, for people where the temps can drop to very cold, dig them up and protect until warm again.
